We're Back!!

Hi girls!
January was a crazy month with all the testing and student holidays, but now that we are into February, it is time to get focused on our book club and more!

You girls have a new name! Our program is now called "P.E.A.R.L.S" which stands for "Preparing Educated and Responsible Ladies for Success." Not only are we going to expand our book club, but we are going to do other fun activities and trips that will hopefully encourage you all to be the very best you can be!

We now have book club after school on Mondays and Tuesdays as well as Wednesdays. We will meet after school in the computer lab to read and blog and learn other new great technology tricks! We will continue to meet Wednesdays for lunch, but I really need to see you at least Monday or Tuesday if you plan on coming Wednesdays. I need to know where your motives are...I need to see who is dedicated to really being a part of this group for all the right reasons!

We are also going to start attending the Gwendolyn Brooks Book Club on Saturday mornings at South Dallas Cultural Center. You can meet me there or let me know if you need a ride. We will also be going to Girls Night Out at St. Philips this month and we are also planning a special "Beauty Shop" event that will be a treat for you later this month!

As you can see, we have a lot planned, but I need girls who are going to be dedicated and who are looking to be involved in positive things! Respond on the blog and let me know what you think about our upcoming events!!
