I had a great time reading chapter 3 with these girls after school today. We enjoyed some chocolate chip cookies, worked on our journal covers, looked at Sharon Flake's website, and read the next chapter which was quite humorous. I love the way Zhamara and Dezeray read with so much expression...it makes me feel like it's happening right there in the same room with us! I would like to thank these girls for being dedicated after school...they made my day!
Tomorrow will be our lunchtime meeting, during which we will finish up the Bluford High books and decide what to read next. Then we will talk about this weekend and a possible trip to Girls Night Out on Friday.
