Guess what arrived yesterday! Our Money Hungry books are here. However, we will probably finish the Bluford books first before we start on it. I am a firm believer in that you should always finish what you start! That's a life lesson that will take you far!
I also need my sixth grade readers to consider being on "Team Bluebonnet." This is a special group of readers who will be reading at least five books that have been nominated for the Texas Bluebonnet Award. After reading at least five of these books, you will get to vote, along with other students in Texas, for the best book. So I need some sixth graders who love to read, who can read at least five books by January, who can keep up with the books, and who want to be part of a specail Bluebonnet celebration in the spring to sign up! We will be having short meetings during Advisory, so listen to the announcements to see when we will meet again.
Don't forget to come sign up for Wednesday! Bring a drink if you can!
