Thanks to Rose, Priscilla, Stephanie, and Ivanne for coming to our after school book club today! We are trying to get back on track so we can be sure to finish "Money Hungry" before the end of school. We will have after school tomorrow too and also don't forget lunch on Wednesday!
We also need to write Mrs. Edinbyrd thank you notes for the wonderful Bibles that she brought us last week! She really thinks you girls are pretty special and has gone out of her way to try to support our book club, so we want her to know we appreciate her hard work and generosity!
Chapter Ten in "Money Hungry" was pretty good today, although I was shocked that Raspberry actually loaned Ja'nae $200!! I'm also seeing some red flags about Sato. I'm wondering how Raspberry's little crush is going to affect her decisions. Sometimes as females we will do anything for the guy we like, but sometimes we get burned. I hope Sato isn't out to just take advantage of Raspberry and her money!! What do you think??
